Black and Blue thanks to you know who...

While working at Ralph Lauren from the winter through the end of summer of 07, I assisted in the research and development of fabrics for seasonal collections. From pattern and design layout, color selection and matching, also working with international mills (Italy, India, Hong Kong) to achieve new and cutting edge fabrics.

Assisting in daily lab dips of mills' dying processes, recording and maintaining receiving, quality reports, and critiques. I joined the design team in concept designs for 2008 collections, starting with design direction, fabric and color selection, sample making and showroom procedures.

Here are some examples of the work I did while at Ralph, working for both black and blue labels, allowed me to work with a variety of materials and customer profiles.

- Wool Coat

- Metalic Taffeta

- Herringbone Jacket
