Backwards Silence Quickley Played...

This is a new piece i am working on for red flower just to post to get some comments on it...
thanks. Anything in black is a stitch with thread and needle just to you know there is more dimension to it than what is reads in the picture..

1 - scale 7' x 3'

This will be back lit when installed so there is going to be a huge difference.



2- 16" x 16"

Where the page meets the black paint the paper is actually falling through the canvas again.



3 - 16" x 16" - It might be hard to see however the paper is actually dropping through the canvas. Mounted with stitches to secure its placement the paper begins to stretch and strain as it peals away from the bindings.

Birght Lights Big City...

One of the current Black Label collections is "City Brights" containing dark navy blues with bold and vibrant colors in purple, yellow, orange and red.

Silk say hello to Metal...

While working with the Ralph Lauren Black Label Fabric Division this years spring summer i had a hands on experience with creating color, quality and composition of the fabrics.
This berry pink is a silk, cotton, metal blend, allowing for the luster and wrinkle of the fabric. The design team chose a beautiful and classic lines to display the material.

Bodenner Studio

A glorious and wonderful apprenticeship position has fallen my way, for the past 3 months this new position has opened so many doors and allowed for numerous experiences. I have attached a couple examples of the work, any design you see is actually a three dimensional design, the patterns are actually woven into the fabric, these are not prints. The repeat sizes vary from a small 2"x 2" sq to a full width at 72" wide and over a meter long. We have created capsule collections for interior and exterior design and hospitality, working on a number of interesting projects with amazing designs and truly eco concious.



Leaves- Well this design the leaves are about 3" long if that and the size of the repeat is 48" by 80" Took about a week to accomplish but so satisfying once it w as complete. Hand drawn then placed into Photoshop. This is going to be a Demask.
